Hello and thanks for visiting my website. My name is Ken and I am the guy who designs and makes the lures. I have no foreign factory so it is just you, the customer, and me the do everything else guy.
I have tied for about 30 years for myself and some friends. I also tied for a fly fishing shop for some time. I enjoy working with my hands and I get a kick out of creating something that lures fish into eating it. As I say ---if you want to catch a fish you first have 2 Lurem!
I have fished for many varieties of fish in both fresh and salt water most of my life. My Dad and grandfather were both avid fisherman and I caught it from them. I can recall bucktail lures used for stripers, bluefish, bass, crappie, lake trout, etc. If it swims in the water I think people have fished for them with these guys. The bucktail lures I tie have been used to entice fish forever it seems. They are tough and durable and mostly they just catch fish. I use the best materials I can find and have included some innovations. The materials I use come from the USA when at all possible. While I am not a speed tier, I am proud of what I produce and I use the same lures I offer you.
Since I have a full time job and tie at home, my operation is small. My inventories are limited but I have built a backlog and intend to keep it reasonable. If you have a large order please email me first and I will give you my best estimate of time. I have a simple goal for 2Lurem---provide a quality product that helps you catch more and bigger fish. I encourage you to contact me with ideas and suggestions. I try to answer all of them. If you have a picture of a fish you are proud of, caught with one of my lures, send it to me
and I will try to post it. (Please include your name, the place, and some fun
details).
This
is definitely a work in progress. I will soon be adding other lures and I will
be adding more comments to the “Tips” page. That page will give you some of,
what I consider to be, the best ways of using my lures and good general fishing
advice. I also encourage you to share your ideas and experiences and I will try
to post them as well. Keep checking the site because it will constantly be
changing.
